The conditions listed above have one thing in common.  They are all SYMPTOMS of underlying PROBLEMS. Musculoskeletal problems like these are some of the most common reasons why people seek medical attention.  Physicians all across the country evaluate and treat these symptoms every day.  In many cases the treatment is unsuccessful because the symptom is the focus of treatment while the source of the problem is not addressed.   

The SOURCE of the above symptoms may be cumulative stress and irritation to the muscles, joints, tendons, nerves.  This often leads to soft tissue adhesions and joint restrictions, eventually leading to nerve entrapment. Cumulative stress is often the result of poor posture, improper ergonomics, old injuries that failed to heal correctly and muscle imbalances.  These conditions are usually not due to a single accident or injury but happen over time.

Cumulative stress and irritation cannot be detected by diagnostic studies such as X-Ray, MRI, CT Scan or NCV tests.   Proper diagnosis requires a specific type of physical examination to locate soft tissue adhesions and joint restrictions.
